SENATOR ASHA SETH ACTS AS A LEADER OF THE CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENT COMMUNITIES OUTREACH

OTTAWA, July 19, 2012 – As Canada’s first indo-Canadian female senator, Dr. Asha Seth is using her unique role as an opportunity to reach out, and spread a positive conservative message to the often neglected cultural communities of Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa.

“On every street we are reminded of the cultural diversity of our great country. We must remember that Canada has always been a land of immigrants, something that adds to our country’s dynamism as well as its diversity,” said Prime Minister Stephen Harper on March 16.

Last year, the cultural communities showed their strong support towards conservative principles.

Throughout this summer Senator Seth hopes to reassure cultural communities that the conservative party shares many of their values and that with their support Canada can be a better place.
