BAPS is a socio-spiritual Hindu organization with its roots in the Vedas. BAPS works to help women pursue their fullest potential in understanding and enriching their knowledge on Hindu traditions while promoting gender equality and community involvement.  In 2011, BAPS Shri Swami Narayan Mandir honoured Dr. Asha Seth as a Patron of the BAPS Women’s Conference 2011, “Honouring the Past, Envisioning the Future.”
